This punk act from New Zealand just released their debut single, “MMA,” and a fun music video to go along with it. Driving guitars and the snarling vocals of songwriter Rory McDonald distinguish Voodoo Bloo as a new act to keep an eye (or ear) on. McDonald might still be eeking his way through his teen years but he packs some ferocious energy into his performance. Here’s hoping “MMA” is just the start of a long and illustrious career for the artist. The music video for “MMA” was created under COVID conditions with the help of director Hans Weston in Wellington. Enjoy.
