5 Worthy Causes

Bragg’s Factory Diner Needs You!

Bragg's Factory Diner

Our favorite vegan-friendly, downtown diner is in need of a little help. We understand the harsh realities of a D.I.Y. business in a corporate world and sometimes folks need some community support to keep a good thing going. Show your support through Bragg’s Factory Diner’s GoFundMe page here. And, if you haven’t visited the diner yet, go now. Right now. Try the “Koo-Koo Banana Pancakes” (flax pancakes covered in brown sugar and rum caramelixed bananas). Or, if you’re there later in the day I recommend the Avocado Sando. Oh, and the “What the Waff??” (sweet and savory coconut curry waffle) has a bit of a cult following so add it to your Bucket List. Don’t even get me started on the baked goods…

Help Fund Alvie & the Breakfast Pigs Music Video!

Alvie & The Breakfast Pigs are raising money for their music video for their song “Been Around”. The band has been working with Electric Legend Pictures and we can’t wait to see the finished product so kick up some cash here! Special prizes await contributors!

Support the Circus Arts Studio

We support any group whose motto is “One trapeze at a time.” Seriously, if you’ve been up to Flagstaff for the weekend you’ve probably been entertained by these folks because the Circus Arts Studio supports Circus Bacchus, Flagstaff Aerial Arts, The Circlet Sisters, and Ethereal Movement Parkour. Offer your support here. Contributions can even score you juggling lessons or maybe some aerial arts training.

Support The Runner Web Series!

The Runner Web Series

“The Runner” is the premiere of Phoenix writer/filmmaker Tashema Oates. Help fund her weekly web series about Taylor Douglas, “a woman whose career is on track; her love life – not so much”. The series has been cast and features the talents of director Jonathon Smith. For more information, and to make a contribution, head here.

Greasepaint Youth Theatre Building Fund!

Now, I know many of you feisty performers got your start in theater so you know how important arts at any early age is for our whole community. Don’t raise Philistines. Make your contribution here.
