It was a Pirate Party at Second Friday last night and some of the YabYum crew rolled out to join in the festivities and check out some of the awesome art happening in Downtown Mesa. If you missed Pirates’ Night, don’t be sad. Next month, Second Friday will be celebrating the Apocalypse… I expect droves of zombies to flood Main Street.

I had my own moment in the sun at Book Gallery. Sliding ladders and old books? Book nerds be warned. Days could be lost in this unexpectedly ginormous store.
We wrapped off our evening at Cheba Hut in Tempe and made an offering of a Gotham City find to the Buddha.
